Crime and the payment to society?
How does a crimenal pay debit to society? Instead the tax payer money is paid in grants and such house the our crimnal.
A solution would be to run the jails and prisons as a milatary;(with out weapons), and have them contribute in some form of supplyl; like farming,
I think that this is one that we should answer and come up with a solution and ASK our STATE Goveners!!

criminals pay restitution it doesn't go to the victims. i was a victim once and they wanted so much paper work that is impossible to get. the prisoners also pay restitution and that monies goes back to DOC.

Hard to read question, but most criminals must repay the victims financially. The locking up part is suppose to rehabilitate the criminal. That no longer happens, we just grow stronger & smarter criminals. Getting to do jobs , even picking up trash is
a reward for prisoners, at least they are out of their cells. Most convicts would love your solutions but most of goverment officals are too lazy to do it.
Source(s): Work with ex-convicts to help them merge into a legal society - we are not very successful. No one wants to give an ex- con a break.
