Get the one best suited to you, and your life style.

I like dogs over cats any day.. but I also share my life with a cat.. annoying as she is <laughs>.

2 dogs and 1 cat here..

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE DOGS!! However, I am even more in love with my independence. Cats are still fuzzy and cute but when you want to leave town for a few days you can leave a HUGE bowl of water and food out and a clean litter box and your cat is happy and safe. A dog on the other hand becomes a hassle for you and whomever you sucker into taking care of it when you need to get away every once in a while. Cats are more aloof, but in the long run they are really great for those that lack spare time and energy. Remember!! 1) you have to walk a dog because the prefer eating litter not pee in it 2) if you change your mind its difficult to get rid of a dog puppies are cute dogs are dogs 3) NO MATTER WHAT!! GET YOUR ANIMAL FIXED!!

Dogs are friendly, and they don't jump as high as cats LOL. Cats tend to be lazy, no offense, while dogs will grab anything you throw at them.

if you work a lot get a cat but if your home a lot get a dog.

If you don't know why you should get one and not the other, how about NEITHER until you know exactly what you want and why.

Otherwise you'll end up sorry of the choice you made "most likely" and there'll be another pet in a shelter or on the street.

Dogs will be your best friend in a matter of time. They are fun and energetic and love a good tummy rub. Even though they are a lot of responsibility they are worth it!!
