What would you think of highways made of conveyor belts -- like at the airports along long corridors?

I don't know. It sounds like it would be expensive to maintain. I work in a factory and the thing about machines is they're always breaking down. I like the idea of relying on more solar power though. Maybe making cars solar powered. I think they have prototypes out there. I wonder if it would be feasible for them to be marketed commercially. We definitely need to have access to alternative energy sources which are renewable.

Yes, life definitely seems to be moving TOO FAST! I agree. But the factory I work in produces cars, so by buying a horse I'd be putting myself out of a job! :) Besides, think of all the poop you'd have to scoop! Horses require a lot of care and you can't just ignore them in between ridings, like you do a car.

Horses are a great idea, but not practical. Even though they are cheaper to buy and maintain (generally) than cars, people in today's high paced world would stick to their fast modes of transportation. You could also argue that horses would be hard to maintain, requiring daily care.

I think hybrid and electric cars will be the next big thing. Compared to gas automobiles, they will save a lot on fuel and pollution. We just have to get the prices down and people will become more interested.

It sounds extreemly far fetched, expensive, and a little... confusing. Of course, it may eliminate speeding.
