my mother is to protective of me and how should i handle this.?

I used to feel that way too, but now that I am older and have girls of my own, I am the same way. Just think about kids your age that their parents don't care....AT ALL. She is over protecting you because she cares. It is hard to start letting go. Too many bad things happen now days. I live in a town that most children that go to school are living with a family member or are in foster homes. Their parents just left them for someone else to raise. This is over 50% of our school.

you don't need to argue with her at all because that will get you nowhere trust me i know LOL!! you need to show her that you are responsible maybe by doing little things around the house or you could try gradually changing what you do like first see if she will let you go to a friend's house then to the movies with a friend then maybe from there go out on a group date with your guy and your friends.and eventually if all goes well then soon enough she will trust you and accept your choices. good luck :)

So many kids are just running loose out there in the cruel world. They get raped, they get kidnapped, they get turned into slaves, they get killed!!!

You'll be an adult before you know it, and then your problems really get big.

If your over 13 then somehow make her understand that its time to start letting you go out more.Show her, don't tell her.
