start counting the first day of her period and when you get to day 14-16 those will be her days go to

www.babycenter.com and they have an ovulation calculator it has worked for all 4 of my conceptions! Also during these days only do it once in the morning but tell her not to organism because this will fight the sperm form entering her cervix to get to the egg and the reason I say only one ejaculation for husband is so that your body has time to reproduce more. And have her stay in bed for about 20-30min. after wards propped on a pillow so it don't drain out right away. Good Luck

approximately 14 days BEFORE her period is due is when she will ovulate. give or take a day. a doctor once told my friend to figure out when her period would be due, count BACK 14 days---and have sex around that time. it worked, she got pg on the first try. many people think it is 14 days after your period...however, that is not exactly true because if your cycle is a typical 28 days--like a lot of women--then yes---14 days after your period is correct. but, if you have a longer or shorter cycle then you would not ovulate 14 days after your period. for example if you have a 25 day cycle, you would ovulate on day 11--not 14. and if you had a 35 day cycle, you would ovulate on day 21.

here is some good info. http://www.ovulation-calendar.com/hlp-d0...

also, you can log your periods on this website....it takes a few entries. but it will help you keep track, estimate when you are ovulating....tell you when your next period is due...etc.

There are only a few days before and after a woman ovulates when she is able to become pregnant. These days come roughly in midcycle, but timing of ovulation varies from woman to woman. There are several ways to determine when a woman is ovulating, like observing changes in the mucus of the vagina (cervical mucus) and recording her temperature before rising each morning.

I'm sure there's others, but I read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler, it seemed to cover everything I could think of, and then loads of stuff I wasn't aware of.

    Hope this helps.

a normal womens cycle lasts 7 days...then after those 7 days it takes 28 days before the next one starts about 12-14 days after her cycle ends is when she should be ovulating...when she is ovulating....then is the time to try to conceive

You should buy http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0764525492/104-34... this book. Seriously, it was of great help to my friend and myself.

There is a site called two week wait http://twoweekwait.com/community/modules.php?name=... that helped as well.

You need to start charting with BBT's, and you can do it online, which is so much easier than trying to do it by hand. The computer figures out your O dates and you (your wife) fills in the days you have sex, the symptoms she feels, how her cervix feels, etc.

Here are some more helpful sites:

    charting (free service)

Remember a little education goes a long way. Read this and start a chart with your wife and good luck!

It is almost in between the days of start and close of the periods. You should use 4 days 1 day in advance as the sperm is live for 24 hours.

Well... fiance and i did "IT" 2 to 3 times a day for a month. Plus she should orgasm just before you finish so the cervix can suck the semen up into the uterus....... have a 20 month old boy now.

You need to get up on it every day and every night. Don't worry about calendars cycles or anything like that. Pump that seething love purse of hers. Don't be shy. She'll get pregnant. That's how it works.
