M / F ADULTS answers please......?
I dated this guy a few months ago. It was an instant attraction. Unfortunately he had some "issues" to deal with and he needed to "take a break from dating world". We've remained friends and I understand he's "back on the market". Anyway, I have my nephews wedding to go to in about 5 weeks and I HATE the thoughts of going to yet another function, alone. Do you think I should ask him, even just as friends? I know we would have a blast together! There is another guy sort of in the picture, but he can be a real jerk, though he'd probably say yes (cheap date...LOL).

I think that if you want to ask him to go, make sure that he's comfortable by telling him, it's a "no pressure" situation. At weddings especailly, people get all love crazy, you don't want some great aunt coming up and asking if you two are next, then he excuses himself to the bathroom, and climbs out of the window. If you want him to go as a pal, just let him know that's what's on your mind too, and have a blast.

Well, I think that you should ask him to go with you, I only have one question that you should think about: Why would you ask him to go as something else if you are ONLY friends??? Anyways, I believe you should ask him to go with you..think about it...what would you prefer?
OPTION A
-go with the guy that you had an "instnat attraction"
-have a blast
-and maybe more...
Or
OPTION B
-go with a jerk
--all throughout the party be thinking about how would it have been if you had gone with the other guy
-go with the cheap date
I hope this is helpful in making your decision...

It doesn't hurt to ask. You never know! Don't go with cheap dates cuz what they say is true: easy come, easy go. Who cares if you're showing up alone. It's not what they think that matters (that is shallow), it's what you think.

ofcourse you should ask him to go... even if you are "just friends", friends are what make the world go round lol. it would never hurt to have a little fun :) but then again.. why dont you ask both?

Sure. Take em BOTH! One on each arm. That will help you get over all those other events you went to single!

You definitely need to ask him. If you two are friends then there is no problem. Who knows what it may lead to.

Ask him to go, you can have a better time with a friend, who you are not trying to impress.
