  • Does age difference matter? I am 16 yrs older.....?

I do not look my age, feel my age and sometimes don't act my young age of 44. He's 28,awesome personality, been a very good friend for past 8 months. He has an well paying job and a place of his own. He knows I could go for more and he's mentioned to a few how he prefers older, more mature. His age group wants to mostly party all the time and he says he,s been there, did that.

My philosophy is 'age is just a bunch of numbers'.

My friends from aged 24 to 50ish keep telling me to go for it,well except for 2 of them. So, I am just curious.....

  • Does age matter as much if the woman is older than the guy by a significant number of years?

We get along great. There is alot in common aside from the 16 yr age difference. Even our political views!! LOL...Its been quite obvious that he's "in" to me (as I have been told). He's 26 and has said most women he meets in his age group are still a bit immature and want to party all the time. I don't look my age, most guess early 30's. I feel as though i'm 10yrs younger also.

So.......I am 43 and have been a widow for 5yrs. The guys in my age group I have met/dated are still into head games. One guy (42) "wasn't sure where his heart is and not sure if it was with me". He went back to the one that cheated on him and wiped their bank account clean.

Another(46) TOLD me he was divorced, he wasn', and after a month dating me they decided to get back together. Then had the audacity to show up with his wife at the bar we were supoosed to go to that night to see a band! He emailed the next day to tell me how "hot" I looked and he wanted to buy me a drink so bad!!

Another (41) was an extremely boring high school psychics teacher. He went on and on about his "kids" and psychics.

My list goes on and on.........

  • Long distance relatioship.?

This guy and I are in our early 40's. We met over a year ago, really hit it off,but we're 1100 miles apart. Theres so much in common and the moment I see he's calling, texting, or is online,my heart skips a beat!!

We've talked about me coming to visit him,but now he's not sure. Last night he asked me if I thought a long distance relationship could work. I was speechless! I told him I hadn't given it much thought. He says he doesn't think it would but we'll talk about it tomorrow(it was already 3am). I can't move to him for at least 3yrs and he's not sure he wants to come back 'home' (he's originally from my area).

I do beleive we could make it work. It worked for my best friend. She's never been happier. I know what works for one, doesn't always work for others.

Just looking for some input on my situation.

  • Looking for title of movie?

The movie is about a man & woman who are really good friends. They each have had ups & downs with relationships. They made a deal that if neither of them were in a realtionship or married by a certain date, they would get together. I think it came out within the last few years. Several people I've asked said it may be Meg Ryan or Jennifer Aniston.....I just can't remember!!

  • Why are guys such inconsiderate jerks?

I got home from work tonight and was heading to the shower. I decided to quick check my email. The guy I was meeting for the first time tonight IM'D me to cancel. HELLO!!! I gave him all my numbers....A phone call at work would've been a bit more considerate.. He said "Sorry, I have to change plans tonight because my kids are staying home this weekend" (as opposed to going to their mom's house.) No big deal, I can understand that, but what if I didn't check my computer before I left? For the record, we're both in our mid-40's!!

  • I'm going to see my ex for first time in 9 months next weekend at a soccer tournament, my son.... t

and his girls are in it. We broke up (after 20 months together) because he felt "WE" needed to see others. HE broke my heart, and my feelings are STILL there. Our compatabilty was incredible! Main problem was he never wants to be married again. Repeatedly told him it was OK as long as we were together.

So, he has moved on and I'm still not seeing anyone ( believe me I've been trying to move on). I just haven't met anyone yet. (well I did but thats another story). How can I handle seeing him again especially if the ***** is with him?

Funny thing is I've ran into several mutual aquaintances recently and they can't figure why he's with her. She's " ugly and not much a personality" one told me..( I know her and must agree with them)...lol. So whats the deal? I'm secretly hoping when he sees me he'll realize he let a good thing go.

Just the thought of seeing him makes my heart race and I know he'll talk to me. How can I keep myself from falling apart?

  • M / F ADULTS answers please......?

I dated this guy a few months ago. It was an instant attraction. Unfortunately he had some "issues" to deal with and he needed to "take a break from dating world". We've remained friends and I understand he's "back on the market". Anyway, I have my nephews wedding to go to in about 5 weeks and I HATE the thoughts of going to yet another function, alone. Do you think I should ask him, even just as friends? I know we would have a blast together! There is another guy sort of in the picture, but he can be a real jerk, though he'd probably say yes (cheap date...LOL).
