Phen-Pro: anyone tried it? Results? Addiction?

According to the phentermine.com site, the combination of Phenermine and Prozac works longer than Phentermine alone and also works better (for weight loss). I have not been able to determine if you still get addicted to the Phentermine with this cocktail. Has anyone tried this? Any real-life stories welcome.

. . .

Please DO NOT answer if you are going to push another type of weight loss drug, tell me I just need to eat right and exercise, or tell me diet pills kill.

Update:

Everyone is NOT disqualified. The question is for people who've trired it or know someone who has.

Prozac and Phentermine...it makes me laugh at the irony. I'll tell you why.

Prozac makes you eat and gain weight. Remember that.

Phentermine by itself is effective...for a while. You must diet and exercise too. But it will make you want to. And if you use it for a month and stop, you will do more harm than good b/c you'll put back on 2 x as much as you lost.

    Don't forget that either.

Addiction? Not if you are smart. Don't ever take more than one Phentermine pill or capsule. Ever. I am no doctor, so please don't take this as any medical advice, but here is something that might work (and of course don't smoke or do this if you have high blood pressure, eating problems, I am not liable for what you do, etc.):

You can try taking 1/2 a Phentermine pill then increasing it, then as you lose weight, decreasing it again, etc. I would not take it for more than 3 months as is recommended. It can cause health problems after that, and at that point you will have developed a tolerance anyway and it won't work. Also, that time should've been enough time so that you would've developed better eating and excercise habits.

Then, you can try coffee if you still need something to cut your appetite. Or Meridia or Topamax if the doc will give that to you. Or Xenical.

Phen-Pro is stupid, stupid, stupid. Just Phen by itself. If you want an antidepressant just for the sake of an antidepressant, how about a newer one that causes less weight gain like Cymbalta? But I don't think that makes you lose, either.

    hi

I honestly feel that these addictions are not good in the long run so please refrain from doing any , This option really worked for me so here goes ,

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.

Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

    good luck

People who plan their weekly meals are more successful at losing weight than those that don’t. Plan your dishes to add in healthy carbs such as fairly sweet potato and wholegrain pasta, green vegetables and lean proteins, buy each of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted you can eat out or order in.

Suck this in. Consciously hold in and contract your abdominals while you’re walking, sitting at your desk or making the supper. This will help to strengthen your abdominals and your core, and enable you to get one step closer to a new flatter stomach.

Al dente pasta features a lower GI value, so is really a healthier option than nuking your own fusilli till it’s soggy.

Eat goats cheese rather than regular cheese. It contains 40 percent fewer calories than the cheese created from cow’s milk.

Beans, beans, are good for your heart, the more you eat the more you... lose weight actually. Super-effective and full connected with fibre, beans will regulate your appetite and reduce the rate at which the stomach empties, meaning you keep fuller for longer.

Suck it in. Consciously hold in and contract your ab muscles while you’re walking, sitting at your desk or making the dinner. This will help to strengthen your stomach muscles and your core, and enable you to get one step closer to a new flatter stomach.
