He created heavens and earth. What does mean 'create'?

Possibility 1. He uses a plan, His skills and cleverness and available raw material (The super Artist).

Possibility 2. He produces perfect objects out of nothing. (The best Magicien ever)

Possibility 3. He is the best Magicien and he tries all kind of possibilities (guided evolution)

Possibility 4. ???

What do you think, believing He is there?

Means that HE, the Almighty One, brought into existence and order. Neither a magician nor evolution could produce such orderly effect. And that, is not a lazy person's answer.

If I remember correctly, the word "created" in the original Hebrew lanquage means, "to bring into existence what did not exist." If we could totally comprehend such a thing we would be on the same level as God.

    Dear Thermo,

I would have to go with 4 - Created everything physical, known and unknown, and set processes such as evolution into motion.

He has the power to do anything. He created all the things you see (including man made). Except, he made us more special. He made us by hand with using sand. Man were created first, then woman.

Making something, like you and I trying to make a drawing of 3D art. But in God's case (this is so amazing!) he made heaven and earth by nothing except his words and awesome power. With me I need tools to make something, but God doesn't. WOW! HE is so cool! Don't you agree!

The answer is possibility 2, of course. He created verything you see, and so much more, out of nothing at all.

God created... which meant, as stated later, out of nothing God brought into existence everything.

God doesn't need cheap parlor tricks like evolution.

It means the universe was created by chance spontaneously in the big bang and god doesn't exist.

Simple: there is no God. Explaining existence of universe as creation of God is lazy man's answer to hard questions.

Conditions were such that Earth was a habitable planet.
