so was Oliver North telling the truth so many years ago?

Update:

well how the truth about what he was saying has come to light in resent years.After they used him to make an example out of.Im kinda thinking thats way he got off

    i watched that trial...oliver north lied and all but admitted it...still he was used as a scapegoat, but got found guilty

    then he got lucky and got pardoned, well, i don't think luck had anything to do with his pardon, either, but then, what do I know?

    I'm sure he told the truth about something many years ago. Could you be more specific as to the particular truth he was (or wasn't) telling?

    no,

    he was tried found guilty and pardoned.

    that is why he says he's innocent.

    he was pardoned.

    there are others who were convicted during Iran Contra who were pardoned, and are working in the current administration.

    go figure?
