No you have to have the Sims if you want the living large to work.
The only things that work with the Sims 2 are the Sims 2 expansion packs. The ones like The Sims 2 University, The Sims 2 Nightlife,The Sims2, The Sims 2 Open for Business, and the one coming out this fall is called The Sims 2 Pets. The ones that also work are Stuff Packs: The ones like The Sims 2 Family Fun pack, and the Sims 2 glamour Life.These are all fun and cool. For more information go to www.thesims2.com
