Make sure that the iron has heated up.Take small strands of hair(about 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide) and start from the very bottom of the strand and curl up,hold in the hair for several seconds, using a finger to feel the hair heat up,then slowly remove the curling iron.If you have longish hair, you may want to immediately pin the curl so it will hold and set while you do the rest of your hair, repeating the steps as necessary.

There is a curling iron designed specifically for ringlet curls. It doesn't have a clamp on it, just a spiral guide that you wrap your hair around. That may sound a little confusing, but you'll know it when you see it. I think it works much better for ringlets.

it is what I do with my Karmin Clipless and it may artwork for you. positioned some easy keeping warmth protectant spray on the piece of hair you are going to curve and wrap it around the barrel for 10 seconds or extra. no better than 20 seconds for the reason which you will injury your hair. Then, pin up the curl and bypass directly to the subsequent piece of hair. as quickly as the pinned up curls are cool, enable them to down and use a teeny little bit of keeping spray. do not use too plenty product or it is going to crush on the curls and flatten them.
