    Yes you do.

It is usually a monetary gift that is given at a Baptism.

However any gift for the baby is acceptable.

Some do, some don't. It is not a given. Make it appropriate if you do, like a childrens bible story book or a Christian childs poem with like picture to be hung. The sweetest thing my son received was a bronzed plaque of the night time prayer "Now I lay me" and had my sons name and birth date at the bottom. m

    Send something to the home.

Otherwise, if you are attending the type of church which allows some alcohol on the premises, then bring a nice bottle of wine.

yes especially if you are a Godparent. maybe a small cross necklace if the infant is a girl so she has something pretty when she is older.

Yes, don't buy baby clothes though, most of them don't get worn. A soft small blanket is good, or a tiny neclace or ring, these are good items to remind them of you.

I would give a gift. I would make it somewhat special, maybe religious.
