What is the best way to survive and heal a sunburn?

What is the best non-prescription medicine and painkillers? What is the best thing to put on the skin? What is the least painful?

First, wash the burned area. After you pat dry, apply vinager with a

soft cotton ball. This really takes the sting away. If you have access to an aloe vera plant, break off one of the pieces and use the gel inside to rub over the burn. This is also quite soothing.

These suggestions are for immediate relief. Try to stay out of the

sun and apply a good moisturizer twice a day to keep the skin from

    peeling too much.
