it is a saline solution pumped into your lower intestines and upper GI tract by way of anus and then sucked out along with anything in your bowls. it very healthy and can help you maintain a healthy digestive system.and yes there is light discomfort from this procedure but only from the pressure of the saline being pumped or the tube that is inserted into your rectum.

As you surely know, a high colonic is an enema. If done properly, it is not painful and can be therapeutic. If done improperly it can be painful and cause ruptures.
