When is now?

I'm not talking about the moment someone spurs you to do something now, now, more like the very thing we call now. Be creative here.

Now is a social concept of time. That may answer 'what', but 'when' is relative to the span of time implied or referred to in context. Being a variable social measure of time, it would not necessarily represent any fixed quantitative span of time, or necessarily represent the smallest measurable or perceptible span of time. Perhaps in whatever context the word is being used, it might represent the span of time that marks the duration of particular event(s).

Now is the point of transition of the future into past. Now was conceived out of our impatience of waiting for the future and our fear of losing the moment to the past. Now is also a point of we think we exist in the frame of time and space. Notice that, the word 'now' combined with the word 'here' will give you the world 'no where' pointing to our frivolousness attempt to contemplate the meaning of now itself.

Now is a moment we can never catch, a moment continually slipping into our past.

Now is the only time you have power to control. Can't control the past or the future. Its very limited isn't it.

Excellent question. It's immeasurable. It becomes the past instantaneously.

never. when you're talking of the now, it'll be in the past already and you'll have to talk about a new now.

"Now" is the pause before the second hand moves again. Oops, it's over.
