Bruins Fans, Sinden is gone. Is this good for the franchise or is Jacobs the real problem?

Harry Sinden just got fired. Will this help pull the Bruins up from the dredges of the league or do they need to have the owner sell the franchise?

Sinden's departure is a major step in the right direction. A new owner (and probably an infusion of energy and cash) would probably help the franchise, but the management change is the first real important step. People tend to get complacent and ineffective with too much tenure, and their focus tends to be on the "good old days" versus the future. A person who is looking in the right direction (forward not back) is the right step.

Sinden like lint on a blue suit or his acolyte 'Mental' Mike Milbury on the Island will always be lurking in the bushes. These people like so many insecure people are terrified to relinquish power in case their replacement does a better job than they did, nope Harry will be lurking in the 'Fens' or the parking garage at the whatever the New Gardens has been renamed hoping to be asked his opinion so he can crap on the decision maker. Jacobs is another albatross. God help New England hockey fans

Flyers fan her. Soooo glad for Bruins fans that Sinden is gone. Now they can go for a better coach, which will happen by 07-08 but should happen now. Once that is done, then we'll see if Jacobs is worth his weight in shucked peanut shells.

  • The real problem is the head coach. He's an idiot!
