  • How much added value would I have by adding a forced air system?

We're looking at selling our house in Richmond, VA (obviously, kinda warm). The appraisal wasn't as high as I had hoped. Right now, it's on oil heat, a furnace, and window A/C units

The duct-work is already in place...so I'm considering adding a central A/C heater...the whole shebang.

I've looked at several home improvement sites and they all seem to address replacing an old central A/C unit and that it'll add 80% of its cost to the value of the home.

Any thoughts on how much value it might add if we are antiquated right now with no forced air whatsoever from someone who has done the same thing.

The house is old(1940s) so this would be a major improvement.

  • If I'm a resident of Canada, can I collect rent on a property I own in Virginia?

I've just had a very good job offer that I'm considering taking up in Canada. However, I own a home here in the US and we haven't owned it that long. If possible, can I rent the property and collect income from the US while I'm living in the North.

  • How much can I save on prescriptions in Canda?

I've just begun taking medications for MS. I'm curious as to how much I could save by buying my prescription in Canada. I know the FDA has their advice on it but there are also several large prisons who are buying their needs above the border. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • Does anyone know how the Praxis is scored?

I'm taking the Praxis I tomorrow and I keep seeing these scores for passing grades in various states which are like 173-175. However, I'm not clear on what that corresponds to on the raw scale.

I'm taking the reading practice test and my grammer is a little poor since I've been reading non-native english speakers for the past few years. (I've been an applied physicist for the past few years)

Is it a scaled score? How will I know if I have a passable score from these study guides? I'm using the Kaplan book.
