Boxing? Why do people like watching it? Why is the industry so big?

I think because men are like little children.

most people don't like watching it all that much, some guys put a lot of faith into boxing but the fact is that most people could not tell you the name of the belts out there or the contenders for the championship's name and well as the name of the current champions. It is only a big sports in some people's mind. Top spectator sports are: Footbal, Baseball, Basketball, Golf, Hockey, and so forth. Boxing does not even come close to Bowling

First of all I don't consider Boxing to be a sport where one individual is really wanting to hurt another individual. To me it is more a matter of two superbly trained athletes demonstrating their skills and determination of winning over the opponent. I personally go for individual type sports like boxing, karate, racing, etc. You are proving to the world that you and nothing else are the elite in the sport.

it is a way for some people to let out frustrations - not actually being able to "punch someones lights out" - they can sit and watch it happen to someone else LOL And then there are guys, who love anything violent with the name "sport" attached to it.

i think people like watching it cuz they like 2 see others beat the crap out of eachother!!
