Is the "Napoleonic complex " something that only men have?

I have known small women (meaning about twelve inches shorter than average), & the only ones that had the inflated egos are the ones that were spoiled or treated like children because they were considered "cute".

Is the "Napoleonic complex" unique to men only?

It generally refers to men however is not exclusive to them. It can be applied to women as well. It is more acurately refered to as an inferiority complex. The women you speak of most likely suffer from Narcissism. Just a little note, Napoleon's shortness is a myth; he was in fact slightly over 168 cm, or 5 ft 6 in, and would have been considered of average height in his day.

My wife's ex-husband has above average estrogen levels, and is 120 lbs soaking wet. He has a serious Napoleon complex, so I would say that the inferiority complex is definitely possible in the effeminate persuasion. His new wife, however, is 4'11", and is very timid and submissive, but I really think that the deciding factor is the environment.
