The show used to on about fifteen years ago. It would be on about two o'clock in the afternoon, along with Aesop's Stories and Reading Rainbow. The hostess was a woman with blond hair.

In it, the couple exchanged letters through a writing desk, and an old post office. Toward the end of the movie, the post office burns down. I thought that the name of it was The Writing Desk, but could not find anything like that as far as movies go.

I also thought that it had Christopher Reeves in it, but that movie was Somewhere In Time, where he fell in love with a portrait & hypnotised himself to go to the past to meet her.

It may have had Jennifer Jason Leigh in it, but I could be wrong about that, too.

When I was in elementary school, we were shown a movie about how America would have been affected if [then] the Soviet Union had won the cold war. One scene had where a teacher was trying to convince a young student that God did not exist by telling him, "that if you work hard, God would not give you a puppy, but I might."

Everyone is always asking me what nationality I am. This has occurred ever since I can remember. Many people have emailed me asking this question, & the other day while in line at a store I had yet another person ask this. Guesses are anywhere from Swedish to Hispanic to Middle Eastern.

I do not look exotic or have an accent that would imply that I am from somewhere else, so why does this keep happening?

According to Rodney Davies' The Lazarus Syndrome, it is still a common occurrence, though most cases reported are in countries other than the States, & even more common among religions that require quick burials &/or frown upon autopsies. Most case caused by drowning, drug overdoes, or heart or nervous conditions.

Please do not write "Just googel" or some similar response. A lot of matches pull up in a search engine, but when I try to pull up the actual lunar calendar for that year I am dissapointed because I do not get the information I wanted.

I did not but I know people that have. Some because they were lonely growing up, some really did believe they were real. One theory has to do with the ability for children to see ghosts.
