you dont ....keep your enimies close and freinds and family closer ...plus your cousin will be more apt to steal from you becuase he thinks that you wont press charges becuase of family pressure that you will recieve if you do

Hire an attorney to draw up all the paperwork, securing your position in the business.
I recommend dual signature accounts - neither one person can write against the account without the other's signature. Or hire an accountant to process payments/deposits, thus eliminating your cousin from the process.
Nothing ruins families faster than money. I recommend you treat your cousin as a business partner, and expect the same from him. But are you prepared to be the sole proprieter if he bails out on you or you have to sever business relations because he reverts to old habits? Would you lose everything if you get stuck owning the business solo? Might not hurt to have someone run a background check on him.
Good luck...

Oh, don't do it..it's harder to get back money from family than anyone else. Besides, he might use the fact that he is family to take money whenever he feels like it. Try not to do business with family and friends, money usually ruins a lot of these relationships.
Never get into business with anyone you're not sure about..family or otherwise.

That is someone that you DO NOT want to go into business with. If his only skill is theft, why would you even put yourself in line to work with someone like that? And dont say, "he's family, he wouldnt do that to me."
Its usually family that are quick to take advantage of us.

in my experience theft is a lifelong habit, nothing pulls familys apart faster than money (even without theft), its not in the good times this wil do you damage but in the hard times when you need it most. it starts small and innocent with all intention to pay it back and then it becomes a compulsion or an obsession burning everything in its path with no remorse. theft is an incurable disease, but thats just my thoughts
if you have to ask the question...that is probably your answer
