How should I breath?

I have had breathing problems my whole life from allergies. I just realized that I can breath through my nose, but my breathing still lacks efficiency. I still become dizzy and tired on low air quality days even after a good nights sleep.

Update:

Healthy people believe in doctors. After my experience with doctors I'd rather see a veterinarian. I've been 3 years doctor free and I'm in the best shape of my life. No more pills! No more operations! No more trying to pee in a cup!

    Go to your local herbal store. People are shocked to find out how many natural choices there are. They helped with my asthma by having me try guaffiasen (sp?) I have gotten sick of paying for prescriptions for ailments that they probably already have the cure for but choose to keep quiet so we continue to go to a pharmacy.

    I would suggest you see a respiratory specialist (or see your primary care physician and let him refer you).

    You may have sleep apnea, which is a condition where you stop breathing (for very short periods of time) multiple times during sleep.

    Your body wakes you up when this happens, in order to allow you to resume breathing. So you never really get the deep sleep you need.

    However if you have congenital breathing anatomy problems, a medical professional specializing in such problems should be able to help.

    You may want to ask your physician about having home oxygen available for the times you have problems, that is if low oxygen is whats causing these dizzy and tired feelings. Sounds like that is what it is anyway - won't hurt to check it out.

    ask your doctor for a breathing treatment tell him all the problems. When it is extremely hot out side stay inside the air conditioner. Good luck

    see a chiropractor...they actually fixed my allergies...i used to get really bad and have problems breathing, but since i started going about 3 years ago i have been great...until this year...i have it now, but that is because my nasal is blocked and messed up due to a broken nose, so if you have a broken nose get it re set and it should help and if not go 2 a chiropractor

    I think you need to see a doctor who can help you with your breathing problems, especially if you're dizzy and tired.

    talk to a doctor and try yoga... yoga practice will teach you how to breathe more efficiently with less effort.
