I do not know which graphics card would be best or how to compare graphics cards. I really need a portable computer, I can not write my name legibly or draw a strait line with a ruler. Also I am the sort of person who might get distracted into a different field like programing or web-page design.

It is running a pirated copy of windows and the user is very good at finding malicious software. The copy of windows is not upgradeable and won't run a lot of modern software like AVG.

Right now it has one of those "virus protection" programs that wants money to make the computer work right again. The user has cable one, so the internet rarely works. It is necessary to reinstall windows regularly. I want to try a different operating system, but I am not sure which one to use.

Where can I download a free operating system that will work will? Also I want to upgrade the ram to 512, but I get a blue screen saying the bios needs to be updated when I switch out the chips.

I collect vintage computers, and I just got my first mac it's a IIci. I have a Pentium 3 and a Pentium 4 both with win XP. The IIci is much older then my other computers, and has 5120 K of memory total, yet it is the fastest computer I own. I am looking for more parts, but right now it only has a 3 1/2 inch drive.

I have been fighting police slander for over 4 years! I have been arrested 3 times, the first 2 times the prosecutor dropped all the charges after 6 months, but this time they have dragged the case out against my wishes for over a year even though I refuse to wave my right to a speedy trial! I do have a lawyer from the public defenders office, but he can’t even get full discovery! I am still being pressured to plead guilty to a crime I didn’t commit. I have been offered a deal where the prosecutor would give me time served and no probation, but this deal would do nothing to protect me or defend me from the slander!

The prosecutor has produced the tape and implies that her ex-gf who has a warrant out and is hard to find consented to the tape, but parties on the tape showed an unwillingness to “come out” in the past. She believes that her ex-gf was intimidated into making the tape, because she said she was, and because they both where friends before and after the tape was made. The relationship was ended because of the tape for my f’s safety, by her bf. This takes place in Idaho (of course) and my f does not access to a lawyer because of numerous conflicts of interests. They don’t have a case, but my f thinks the tape may be used to embarrass her during trial, what evidence should my f use in a motion to suppress the tape?

How can we make manufactures that intentionally mislead the public about product safety and effectiveness responsible? Our government spends billions on prescription drugs every year, but are we getting what we payed for? Consumers have been intentionally mislead about dangerous drugs like Zoloft, Rispredal, Ritalin, Vioxx, and Prosac. Even when a drug maker is caught red handed they don't pay out more then a small presentage of profits.
