    Too true, and very funny.

But in reality, who would choose the ugly one if it was available?

haha. its cos they dont make the avatar parts un-attractive.

i think they should give you the choice to pick a body size for your avatar, cos its unfair on the larger people.they might feel left out or think that yahoo thinks the avatar will look as attractive.

I really do look like my avatar. I have the same color hair, it's cut the same way, and my eyes are green too just like my avatar.

I guess not everyone. There's also a fat looking woman avatar! And of course you can choose the mood 'angry' or 'sad', so I don't think you look good with that.

Avatars chosen within limited range for so numerous of varying nature can hardly reflect individual peculiarities. Hence, you are right, it is deceptive!

  • I know what you mean! I'm tired of it. Mine doesn't look anything like me, but I can't make one that does! lol. You have to be a 360 member to upload your own photo, right? If not, someone tell me how! I hate these stupid things!

yes lol, my hair is that colour, and so are my eyes but I wouldn't say it looked like me haha.

i guess the avatars don't show natural flaws or enough variation with features.

Because no matter your shape or age or skin condition, the avatars are young, slim and don't have spots!

They bring out our best features but don't take into account any character flaws
