I have tried to google this and cannot find what I am looking for. I am looking for a description and pictures of the different types of carriages and horse and buggies. I am also interested in photos and descriptions of ships that were common in the ports during that time period.

the net or the library IS the best place. it will take some work for you because you have a certain, very specific thing you are looking for. (and you probably have an idea in your head that you cannot duplicate) keep looking.
