Did the answer to your questions here, help you, or...?

One question I asked about was a stalker problem I was having and people were very helpful, nice and concerned and I took their advice and it worked. I asked another legitimate question about seasons and got a few smarty pants answers implying that I was dumb for not knowing the answer, but stupid me, I was under the impression that this is what this site is for, to ask questions that you dont know the answer to......... well stick a feather in my hat and call me stupid.... :-)

I think it depends on which category the question falls under. For example if it falls under family and realtionships etc., I do think one should expect a specific answer but one finds some help and solace in the answers. But if for example you are looking for a particular hardware configeration, that's something specific and if someone gives you the answer that solves your problem you are satisfied...coming to myself, I've found answers that satisfied me as well as answers that dont quite satisfy..but it is all basically fun. I stopped asking questions. I would rather answer and get the points.

You can get some decent advice here, depending on the subject. But this is mostly for entertainment.

I asked a question about my cell phone and my computer and all the answers to both were very helpful.

I have only asked one question and it was only to see what the opinions of the respondents were.

sometimes the answers helped, but there were times when I guess the right people weren't on line.

Sometimes it helps but their are a lot of jackholes here.
