Do you have to hold the buttons that pop up or just tap...what's the deal? Cuz I can't get past it. I'm on the Wii.

My dad is in his 60's and wants me to purchase a digital camera for him (his first one). Because I own a Kodak myself, it will be easier for me to instruct him on how to use it. I'm seeing that Windows XP is recommended for use, but he only has '95 and won't be upgrading anytime soon. However, I don't want him to waste money on a product if it will only give him headaches because it's not functioning properly. Does anyone have any experience with this particular problem?

I just found out that my dog is suffering from an illness that is slowly killing him. As of now he is still acting normal, except for a few symptoms, but the thought of what's to come is enough to cause the sting of tears in my eyes when someone asks how he is (I've had him for 10 years and he's 14 years old).

Most people are very sympathetic, but there are a limited few who react by saying, "It's just a dog.".

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of an animal's companionship, be it a dog, cat, bird, whatever....knows that it's not "just a" anything....and I know I'm not the only person who has had to hear someone say it.

So I'm wondering...does anyone have a THOUGHT PROVOKING reply that I could use for people who just don't get it?

We want to put different songs on GH3 for our Xbox 360. The only problem is we don't know how 2, or if it's even possible. We have discs and ipods, but we don't have Xbox LIVE. Post if you have an answer. Person with most details gets best answer if you know how, and you get best if you say you can't but have sources 2 prove it.

I got offered a Gateway laptop with Intel Celeron, XP home SP2, CPU=1333 MHz, 1.33 GHz, and 256 MB RAM. I basically just surf the net and play a few free online games here and there, but I also help my sister-in-law with bookkeeping, so I would need to install quickbooks on it. It comes with a wireless card for internet.

The guy wants to sell it to me for $300. I researched used laptops online and found one basically exactly like it for $499, but a brand new bottom-of-the-line laptop at a nearby electronic store chain is selling for $350 this week, so I'm not quite sold on the fact that I'm getting a good deal.

It works just fine, I'm using it now...but I'd feel better getting opinions from you guys as to the specs and perhaps experiences with your gateway comps or laptops. Help a first time buyer out, will ya?

I have a wireless connection which up until yesterday worked perfectly. My Dlink USB adapter fell off my desk and the casing came off. I easily put it back together, and it's still blinking, trying to receive signal, but it's unable to actually pick up on the signal that was there. I just wanted to know if anyone else has gone through this and fixed the problem, because, unfortunately and stupidly enough, this is the third time this has happened to me. It's getting really expensive to have internet. :) Short of going and buying yet another one, has anyone else had this happen and found a way to make it- what seems to be the antenna on the card- work again?

He likes to stay in his room ALL day. He likes to ride his bike but only does it once every while.He also likes video games but HATES split-screen. He doesn't have a social type around us either. The hard part is that HE IS A TEENAGER. He has that whole "I can do things myself or I get mad and blame other people" thing going. My son is in love with RPG games. He has a PS2 but he doesn't know what kinds there are or where to find them.I need to find him an RPG to boost his spirits.

We just bought an oriental-style rug. However, on a Pergo floor, it's much like training for the Ice Capades. So we went to Walmart and purchased some sticky hemp-like mesh to hold it down. It lasted an hour. Then a neighbor gave us some latex-rubber type mesh to cut up and stick under it. It somewhat works, but the rug is still slippery. Does anyone have a DIY remedy to make this rug stay put?

I just bought it tonight. I plugged it into my computer and it turned on, no problem, half battery life. But windows wouldn't recognize it, so I tried unplugging it and then plugging it back in. When I did that, it shut off and now it won't come back on. Anybody have a similar experience or know for sure that I screwed it up or something? I just got the thing and I'm already wishing I had listened to the nay-sayers and bought something else.

My husband and I have a hot tub and we enjoy it together and with our family and neighbors. I have been in it with close girl friends of mine alone to relax without kids and my husband has gone in with his best friend alone for the same reason. No one said a word about me, but a lot of people have teased them about them being in there together. Now his friend won't get in the tub at all, even with other people in with them. I find it strange that a hot tub is viewed differently, considering you could sit closer to someone on a couch, or at a table and chairs for that matter, and no one will say a word...but enter water into the picture and people make it a sexual thing? I was just curious as to how many people consider a hot tub to be more intimate of a situation than the common urinal? Men and womens opinions both welcome.

Or have them filled? We have a kiosk at our mall that does it. Does the ink last as long as a new cartridge? How much does it cost? How many times can you refill the same cartridge?

My son has to plan a music video for this song for his music class. He was thinking of giving it a divorcing parents theme. I, for some reason, always thought it was about war. Anyone know the real thoughts behind the song? And if so, would my son's theme fit into the song anyway?
