I looked at my bill today and noticed the majority of my payment goes to the interest. Will the finance company comply if I request applying more money towards the principle?

I recently rented a condo and the carpets were filthy. Used my Bissell in February and March to clean it. It looks better, but I still see dirt stains. Is it safe to shampoo it once a month until its clean?

Does is mean the computer is getting old? I've had it since 2004. Its a Dell, desktop.

We see each other in passing, but we are not friends. And I am positive his wife would not have approved.

I was so caught off guard, and scared because he is a LOT bigger than me, that I didn't tell him how inappropriate that was. I was also angry because I can't imagine what I could have done to give him the impression that showing up at my door like that was ok.

Whenever I asked him what he wanted, he would smile and couldn't give me an answer.

Should I say something to him the next time we run in to each other, or wait until it happens again?

I work in financial services and I meet people all the time who have no clue as to how to manage money. Some people don't even know the BASICS. Am I alone in feeling this should be taught in all schools?

Shirts on sale for 1/2 off have a red tag. Shirts on sale for 1/4 off have a blue tag. Steve bought two red-tagged shirts originally priced at $10 each, and one blue-tagged shirt priced at $16. How much did he spend before taxes?

How many cars did he sell?

They tell us who to love.

They tell us who to hate.

What to buy.

They tell us the stories THEY want us to care about.

They don't tell us much about things happening outside the country, which makes us look self-absorbed.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

My friends on again, off again boyfriend got a job in another state.

He has asked my friend to quit her job and leave everything she knows to move away with him. The only thing is, he's told her that he doesn't want to make her any promises of marriage.

I think he wants to use her for his safety net. And it would be a huge mistake if she went with him.

Would you allow yourself to be in a "relationship" with someone if you knew they were in a relationship, (married, or dating) with someone else?

In the movie Garden State, in the scene where Zach's character is at this house party and they all take what looks like X. A song comes on, it sounds like the Spice Girls, but I'm not sure. Some of the lyrics are, "Do you believe what you see"?

I also heard it in an episode of Sex in the City. In the episode where Big comes back into town for heart surgery. At the end, Carrie knocks over the dominos they were playing the night before and that song chimes in.

Does anyone know the name and artist?

I was refilling my printer cartridge and accidentally dripped ink on my beige carpet. Anyone know of any ways to clean it?
