The Hostel - have you seen it?

i love violent films but hostel is just rubbish, its like Baise Moi without the entertainment, it really isnt worth the time and effort to stick it in a dvd player. It dreadfully a contrived story and worst of all the gore scenes dont pay off and are sometimes laughable.

really give it a miss and pick up wolf creek or if you want a real gore fix with abit if class, pick up Switchblade Romance, its the best Gratuitously violent film thats been out in years.

You are right, it's bloody and sexual. I wanted to stop the movie but something kept me there until the end, and it was totally worth it. There's a twist to the story that will make up for all the bloody, creepy things you see.

I seen it. It was pretty...graphic when it came to the violence. You could see blood gushing out, and a lot of screaming and yelling. There were sex scenes too, which were also pretty graphic. If you liked "Saw" and "Saw 2" I think you'd like Hostel. Only, it's a little bit scarrier than both of them. It's an alright movie, I have nothing against it.

Just saw the movie last week... I was disappointed. It had a lot of sexual seens in the first part, and it was gratioutous... but not as bad as many made it out to be... The second part is GORY but NOT SCARY. If you want to be grossed out, you might want to take a look at it, but as far as the story line goes, and the amount of scary moments... it falls short. The Hills Have Eyes IS MUCH BETTER!

Its tarrantino so you decide if you enjoy his films you will like Hostel, I think he's gone more graphic.

the story is of 3 backbackers who just want hot girls and a guy they meet suggests a hostel for them to try so the trio head of and get to the hostel 1 mate disapears and leaves the other two wondering where he goes .

I loved it but did have a pillow over my face at bits lol.

Yeah, I saw it. It has a bit of gore and some sexual explicit images [nothing really hardcore], the story line is great. I think is one of the most intelligent ones from Tarantino. Keep in mind his movies tend to be a bit shocking and in 'your face', still, a must see, over 18's only of course, not for the fainted heart ...

I watched it at the cinema.

It is very gory. Took time to warm up.

Alot of strong sex, I did not know where to look, its got a cool remix of the classic song that was in The Wicker Man called Willow's Song.. this was in a part when they were all sh*gging!

I could not own it, I dont think I could watch it again.. the achilles heel scene put me right off.

There are alot of suspended torture and actual torture scenes in the film so if you can hack that, fair play!

I would not really call it horror, just gory suspense.

The film is awful! Its not at all scary as it doesn't show scenes in enough detail and it is only occasionally funny because its so bad and cheesy. The actual story and concept is very good, just really badly made! It does have lots of boobs if thats what your after.

Its ok! Not really worth the hype that it got! It is very bloody and quite sexual - I didn't think that it had much of a story to it to be honest but hey! you might really enjoy it!!

The first half of the movie is a low grade porno.

The second half is a bloody violent horror movie, the unrated version is even worse.
