Mine alone cannot be more than a drop in an ocean but the power of two people is more than double in power. If enough people come together in one idea and create with it, the synergy combined can change the universe. Everything we have in our lives is a thought that we made into reality. From personal situations to what people invent it is conviction that has made it reality whether we realize it or not. We have to want something to have it and that want drives us to take the steps towards our goal. Whether the thought is positive or negative it will manifest in time because we spend the energy to think about enough that the solution will present itself in any way, shape, or form. That's what successful people do to gain what they want and we see why they have what they have. Putting your mindset on one goal is a very powerful thing. I truly believe in this and the proof is right in our faces. Look around you. No one is born to be ruler of the world anymore. These people make it happen with there conviction to what they're doing through the beliefs that drive them.

"My" convictions are not mine. They are identical to real power relations that exist in the world. I have no control over what I believe. So you've misappropriated the causal connection. It's not individuals with individual beliefs that change the world-- the world is doing it to you. And most would, by fiat of "history" -- point to great political architects and say.. "Lo! there was a man that changed history!"

The genius, the politician, the influential person is nothing without the world and all the causal exigencies which announce efficiently through the individual. Worlding is something we do, but this kind of Cartesian subjectivity where we "own" our actions is the religious myth 'common sense' holds so dear.

No, I just wish that were so. I noticed that people who believe they can change the world through the force of their convictions often forget the only thing they really have control over is themselves, and how they treat others in their own daily life. So, I try to concentrate on myself. Sometimes there are little things that come out of it without trying, for example I'm told I actually influenced some of my freinds to eat less meat and drink less alcohol, while I thought I was just living my life.

I thought so back in the 60's when we were "Going To Change The World" to a better place, but I have learned that the people can't change a thing as long as we have greedy and power mad politicians. if they aren't corrupt when they get in office they will have to be to stay in office. sad but true.

Source(s): lived through the 50's and the 60's still hanging on. peace.

i ponder whether you're bearing on Professor Boyle's prediction for 2014 or 15 - forget approximately the date he stated? you recognize, the bible says: while the cry "peace and secure practices" is declared, then our writer will intrude and after that, authentic peace and secure practices will rein of the this earth, no longer a clean international Order from imperfect people! particular, i'm waiting and finding forward to the time our writer will make each and every thing new.

yes I thin if you really believe in something and that is the truth, with positive energy you can change a lot , but you have to believe on the change yourself.

as we know everything is just energy, and all being has energy, and that is the power of energy which can make the change.
