Why is it people feel the need to .......?
Why is it, when you answer someone's question to the best of your ability, someone else, who obviously didn't like your answer, and didn't even ask the question, feels the need to contact you with a nasty message? I mean it's not their situation in the first place, why would they do that? Is this a normal thing? Because there are times I don't agree with some else's advice, but I read it and move on, it's not for me to judge....or is it? I've gotten a nasty email this afternoon and although I found it amusing, it struck me as an odd way for this individual to deal with what I wrote. He wasn't the one asking the question, just felt the need to tell me off?

You may have hit a nerve with your answer and he didn't like it. I think for the most part people are like you, read the answer and move on, regardless of whether or not they agree or disagree. But there is always at least one bad apple in the bunch who has to spoil it. The fact that you found this individual's need to send you a nasty e-mail tells me you are most likely, one of the normal ones out there, and it sounds like you just found one of the bad apples.

Abject. Look it up.
Because this is a public forum it will attract all types.
Including ... abjects. Take your avatar for instance. Doesn't leave much to the imagination you espouse religious leanings. There are people in employ to do just that to a limited extent for reasons of what appear to be a policy.
Personally, I fire back depending on the situation. An abject only goes so far as you let him/her. Amoral in motivation, this enables just such individuals to do just that. Personally I don't know why I even bother doing that. I firmly believe what goes around, comes around.
Reminds me of what someone told me when putting up with customer nonsense: " I'll let life do it to 'im. "

Some people just seem to have a little bit too much time on their hands, and lets face it, some people are just nasty. Try not to let them get you down. Think of it this way: They are letting you know right up front that they are NOT the kind of person you want to associate with! :-)

Because maybe he/she was dealing with the same problem that the person who wrote it was. He/She didn't like your answer because maybe he/she didn't want to face the truth. You have to realize that there are freaks out there so take this last message and delete, then read on............Stick and Stones may break my bones but words or names will never hurt me.

Because maybe they are jealous that they didn't think of your good answer, so they had to be nasty to you. Don't let what they say bother you. Just answer how you feel.

because alot of ppl are nosey and enjoy drama.
they are the type who "never" does or says anything wrong.
the only advise that counts is theirs. And, if you don't say something that they don't agree to...than they feel that they have the right to chew you out over it.
i've had the same crap happen to me...it's pathetic and a waste of mine and their time.

People who are insecure do this because it makes them feel in charge or powerful for that moment when they are busy putting you down. Just ignore them - if you respond you will renew their feeling of control because they made you made or upset!

He's having a bad day or he feels the need to be right at any cost. Ignore it.

It is highly dysfuncational behabior. Too many people fit this mild. They are crazymakers who MUST be avoided at all costs in life.
