Someone stole my UPS packages?
I was supposed to have three packages delivered today. One was from FedEx and was left on the front patio. There were two other packages that were from UPS. I awoke to someone knocking on the door. It took me about 10 minutes to get there but there was no package and no note saying that they had missed me. I assumed that they would try to re-deliver tomorrow. I just checked the tracking numbers and it said that the package was delivered. It was signed by someone named Kareem. I have no idea who that is. I live alone. How can I go about getting my packages. How do I complain to UPS? Should I file a police report?

All of the above. Contact UPS. They should have a record of the electronic signature. Packages are automatically insured up to $100. Call the police. Someone stole from you.

Definitely call UPS and ask them about it.
I have had a package that UPS marked online that had been delivered when they had not actually delivered it yet. I live in a rural area where UPS drivers sometime claim they cannot find our home. Anyway, the story goes that I should've received the package 3 days earlier, but didn't, and one day UPS did come to try to deliver but no one was home, and that day it marked online when I tracked it that it had been delivered and had a signature that I didn't even recognize. I guess that the driver knew that he had made errors before with not getting the package there on time and decided to at least claim that he had delivered to not get in trouble. But the next day I did receive the package (and didn't have to sign for it).
Anyway, I hope this kind of situation is what is happening to you, but you probably should at least give UPS a call tonight and see what is going on.

Call UPS and initiate a trace. They'll work it out with the shipper (usually UPS shipping includes insurance) and the shipper will be able to send you another package at no cost. This process takes about 2 weeks, though. Also, check with your neighbours. It's possible the package was delivered to them by mistake and the knock on the door was unrelated. There is no reason to file a police report (there is no proof of theft or vandalism).

Yes you file a police report and contact both carriers and file a complaint. If these items are insured and I know UPS does insure, you should at least be reimbursed the value price. I have a note on the door asking carriers not to leave packages if I am not home.

I used to work at a place that we had to track our packages sent out through ups and they have to prove to you that you recieved that package. The best thing for you to do in my opinion is to call the company that the package came from and tell them that you never recieved that package and they will put a tracer on it and file a claim with ups to refund the money on the package, if it was sent by an individual then have them call ups and do the same thing.

You should speak to the UPS place, they should not have signed it off to anyone other than you. Expecally if it is a regestered package. Maybe that was the delivery guys name? you should contact them and see maybe they will deliver it tomorrow.

go to the police and give them this Kareem name, they do a search in you local area, if that doesn't turn up anything the guy forged some signature. hope the package was expensive. if it was important then go sleuth on his ***.

go to the website and fill out the complaint form, someone will contact you just be sure to explain to them that you never recieved the package.
