How do you get a non-talkative person to start talking more?
My boyfriend is a very non-talkative person arpund my parents. He isn't afraid of them...he just doesn't really speak or kno what to say. Like shyness or soemthing. I've tried to get him to speak form at least like 4 months now. and I finally got into this arguement wiht my parents about how he doesnt acknoledge them when they come in the door or anything. They find it as disrespect..he doesn't mean to but he calims thats just how he's been raised...his parents divorced...his dad died...his mom married a jerk witha pothead for a son. Do you think he'll ever change? I love him to tears and I'd go out of my mind if i ever left him (so i won't leave him). How can I get him to talk more?

talk to him about it, your parents need to give u both space. id talk to them too, be strong and in time when his ready he will be more open he probably needs you more than you know. i hope things work out
