Does anyone know of a permanent cure for nausea / seasickness?

I'm about to take scuba diving lessons but my problem is nausea and seasickness. Anti-nausea drugs won't help because they cause drowsiness. Does anyone know of an alternate but effective cure / prevention?

Actually you should take the anti-nausea pills for 3 days before the expected scuba lessons. If you take one each night before going to bed it will help you sleep better and you will be awake and ready to go for your lessons.
