Wow just to answer your first question you were saved from Hell for eternity and you know that. my husband was my light in mechanics armor wow so not my type if you will but oh to listen to him talk of Jesus and the church he attended the light just shone thru him it was awesome! i wanted the same light and he lead me to Christ now i was somewhat of a looker if you will and many said they couldnt see what i saw in my greasy mechanic friend but Oh I could see it it was CHrists love We've been married 12 years and have 6 kids between us. Be that person for someone dont lose yourself in this worlds lies. you pray and i will pray for you God will give you your hearts desire of you give him your life to work with

What you see is not as real as God. What you see should prove to you their is a God. If you try and tell me we just became without a creator then you need to go rethink some things. Ask an athiest How the whole universe came about to exist and I mean every galaxy and every star, also the ones still forming. Ask how the earth has one set speed it to turn and one set speed to rotate around the sun. Also the sun is just at the right distance for life to be sustained here on earth which includes billions of diverse lifeforms (That according to athiest just popped out of nowhere or crawled out of the Ocean). Where did the Ocean come from then?. Also ask them to get an empty glass and set it up in their house and go back to the glass 20 or 30 years or more if needed and see whats in it..........you know what would be in it? Still nothing. You have to have a Creator and it scares them. Also for the big bang theory supporters........where did the material that went bang come from and the energy to make it go BANG? I'll tell you God created it and he may have made a "BIG BANG" out of it to put it where he wanted it. I won't dispute that because the Universe is still expanding. All in all the athiests have to many questians to explain themselves that the Bible already explains. I'd rather believe there is a God and die and if there isn't I lose nothing but if there is and I've argued to people he isn't then I would lose alot. Think it over friend. Are you really sure about denying God?

You have the completely wrong outlook on the situation. In 1 corinthians paul writes of how those who are blessed with the gift of being singlke will lead the kingdom of God. The will lead the armies fo the Lord when he comes back to declare his throne. God says that those who are single will have a lot more time and effort and be a lot more blessed because they will further his Kingdom more then those who are married. He does not say marriage is bad but he says that being single is just as much a gift, if not more of a gift, then marriage. We can not draw upon the feelings of the flesh and what we want we must do as God wants us to do. You should find someone who knows a lot about this part of scripture and talk to them about it. It will greatly lift your spirits to realize that God gave you the gift of being single so that you could be a strong crusader for the Kingdom. What if you were that Crusader who brought the message to the last person on earth who had never heard it and ushered Christ back.

This is a prime example of why I don't follow organized Religion. I believe there is something out there for us when we die BUT! What it is is anybodies guess. In life you need to go and do the things you want to make you happy. If you're sitting around waiting for a sign then you better get a blanket cause you are in for a long wait. As far as true love? Well don't wait for a hot chick to just drop into your lap. God has nothing to do with that. You might need to take a course in self-image to boost your self confidence. You'll never hook up with someone when you are so down, positive people bring positive results. So get you chin up.

Please before you give up speak to your paster. This is the very thing I fear. That God's plans are not mine. But I've found that if I give in to His will and find the beauty in the life he planned for me I find happiness. If I never get married I will be devistated. For a while. But the bible says you should be content where ever you are. If you are gifted with being single, rejoice, if you are gifted with marriage rejoice. Is it better to be alone with God or in a relationship that is horrible and does not give God glory? I'd choose the first any day. I suggest if you want to find happiness in your life again that you do something where you can be involved with children. Volunteer to teach Sunday school, baby sit. Rejoice in the gifts that God has given you. Sometimes God waits till you've given up to give you what you want. It's like he's saying, "I'm not giving it to you till you realize it's not what you want that matters, but what I want." And remember that storms in life clean away the things that take us away from God. So please, consider viewing this as a storm and not as a curse from God. Life was made for living so get out there and live! I'm so sorry you feel the way you do. But I'm certain there is a reason.

Oh, brother. You think being saved is about getting what you want? You were never saved. You thought it was a ticket to getting your way in life. Jesus died on a cross so that you can be saved from going to hell. I can't believe you turned your back on God because your life didn't go in the direction you wanted.

Stop feeling sorry for yourself. There are people out there much worse off than you are. Excuse my blunt speaking, but you just made me very angry with your attitude.

I always wondered that too. Saved from what? I guess there is a slight possibility of hell, and maybe faith in a religion of some sort will save us from this place.

But I wonder.....if life hands you a few really big blows, and your religion is now a "used to believe", scenario.....is there more to learn?

I think we just have more to learn. For some people faith comes easy, and for some us....it's a struggle.

You will be fine....you may go back to the religion you once had, or you may move forward into something better. Most importantly "YOU CANNOT GIVE UP ON YOURSELF".

Did religion make you want to die or did life make you want to die? I often feel the way you described - that I'll never find true love. I didn't blame that on God though. I have felt the presence of the Lord many times and He has given me life. I no longer look at my life and wonder why I haven't married. I look at my life and realize that my God loves me unconditionally.

The trials of the present allow us the joys of the future.

I am staying with religion on the premise that there is something there. I've seen something in other people that has proven to me that there is something in religion; but what exactly, I am still searching. If it was easy, it wouldn't be rewarding.

Who said this was Gods Idea - you believe God creates you so He can torture you? How you live your life is not God's problem - it is yours - maybe you have not been living the way He wants you to and now you are finally getting the hints.

No one can blame God for a screwed up life - everyone is in control of their own life - not God. He did not make robots to serve Him - He made Humans who have free will.
