Pulley question?
What is the name of the pulley connecting the alternator timing belt to the powersteering timing belt? Also does anyone know the specs of such a pulley for an 89 corolla gts?

1) the alternator belt and powersteering belts are not timing belts, there is only one timing belt.
2) You're probably talking about a crank pulley, which is also known as a harmonic balancer, and drives the two separate belts.
3) If you're asking how long it would last, probably around forever. Crank pulleys really don't go bad unless something crushes them.

I'm confused by your statement "connecting the alternator timing belt to the powersteering timing belt." The timing belt is the timing belt, and it has nothing to do with the alternator or power steering.
However, If you're talking about a big pulley at the bottom of the engine to which the alternator and power steering belts are connected, that's the crankshaft pulley. The timing belt is behind it.
