If there's a frog, dead in the centre of a lilypad which is right in the middle of the pond, which side would it jump to?

Well he can jump to both sides as he is right in the middle of the lily-pad. therefore it does not matter which side he jumps to. But I think the correct answer is he would obviously jump forward

for all of you who didnt understand the question let me clear it up for you.
"dead in the center of a lilybad" could me right in the middle of the lilly pad. It is supposed to reinforce this more by saying it is right in the middle of the pond.
yes the joke is lame and most people wont catch the riddle part.
