What is your mythology?

I believe that each person, because of their own life experiences, has developed their own mythology. This too, is a concept in most socialogy.

This mythos is unique to each person, and is shaped through out a person's life time. Comprised of ethics, beliefs, hopes, terrors, joys, disappointments, and so forth.

What's yours?

Joseph Campbell once said "Follow your bliss." That's what I try to do. I don't know that my life experiences qualify as being "mythology" (at least not yet). But I do what makes me happy as long as it doesn't effect anyone else in a negative way. If I try doing something and I'm not enjoying the experience, then I don't repeat it. Life is a constant metomorphosis. It's up to us to adapt ourselves to our individual experiences in order to be happy or "blissful."

I too believe that nothing is impossible; if you truly think about it, how can the simple, everyday thing called life, which all of us take for granted each and every day even without us knowing it, be possible? The human body is given life through a simple mixture of basic elements and chemicals and compounds. How can anything on Earth be possible? That is how I come to the conclusion that anything is possible in the physical universe. We just have to will ourselves beyond our barriers to do so.

my logic in this world is compassion, respect, comprehension. as long as i could contribute to other's welfare, be that as it seems, my mythology would be what others witness i had done and gave the world.
