Has anyone used limewire for music downloads? has anyone had any problems with it?

I have. I love it.

limewire is a great website 4 music downloads. u can download a whole bunch of other things to. i got a virus once from limewire and had to have my computer fixed because of limewire. the second time i installed it it didnt give me any problems since. just have the money prepared to fix it just in case.

i have used limewire in the past and all it did was .... my pc up.

i downloaded summat cant remember but my pc ....ed up the next time i restarted it had to get my hard drive formatted.

i still use it now and again but now when ive downloaded some thing i scan it for viruses.

be also aware that what you are downloading may not be what it says, most of the stuff is porn

It is illegal to download on limewire when downloaded copyrighted stuff like music, software. Limeware does contain a hell of a lot of viruses. If I was going to download illegally I wuld use bit torrent software like bitcomet and visit sites like pirate bay or mininova etc

LimeWire is good one for downloading files but i recomend though coz it got tons of viruses files masekd on thier searches

there is an inherent risk with all P2P software they all carry viruses, are illegal and not to mention are a breeding ground for paedophiles swapping pics so yes I have major a problem with it.

So in fact all you people saying yes its great and how much you love it are in fact supporting child abuse.

So just think about that next time you try and save a few quid downloading a song.

Well, one of my friends swears by it. He absolutely loves it and says it's great and worth getting.

But my other friend says that Limewire has ruined her computer... twice.

So if you did get it, I'd be careful what things you were downloading and from what people you were downloading from. Because my first friend says you can get viruses from certain hosts.

Yes, some songs are mixed with another song or it just repeats the same part every 3 seconds for the same length the song would be. I think the companies are onto this big time as it's happening to me more and more.

i use limewire,sometimes downloaded tracks come thru that r corrupt an i carnt play them thats the only prob ive had although my bro downloaded a movie from it an it messed up his pc real bad

we have a 2 pc's a laptop an applemac and a mac laptop

its brilliant with the macs cos no one seems to write virus for them

but sometimes when files are left to upload to improve the ratios it slows the rest of us down and even stops me connecting

i wouldnt reccomend it for windows too many virus about
