There are several separate issues that I see while reading your statements. The first one that comes to mind is that I agree to a certain point. I want to believe that the U.S. was founded by people who wanted the citizens to be happy and free to be themselves, as long as it didn't infringe upon the rights of other citizens.

One thing however that I find missing as people from the past and the present talk about 'freedom' is the fact that any freedom or power of any kind should come with a responsibility. A person with any power should not use whatever that power is to debase or disrespect another human being.

This makes for a tricky situation, because we have so many beliefs. I'm just wondering why we can't have our own beliefs but just share them with like-minded people, and not try to push them off on other people.

Take religion and atheism for instance; why can't the bible thumpers only share their views with each other, and the athiests as well. Why can't we keep from thrusting our views upon others, unless asked for?

I do understand the anger of people who are against the government and feel helpless to stop them from doing the things these people feel is wrong. The only answer I would have to this, is to use our rights as citizens to vote much and often, and get together with fellow thinkers to strengthen the resolve to make change for the better.

Because peoples are scared by "terrorists" and forget eveything else, and just obey like sheeps. Because we are governed by Skull and Bone society members, US lodge of the Bavarian Illuminati.

The bill of rights has been eroded over a number of years and with it going a little at a time then nobody pays enough attention to our loss. I am hoping it is like a pendulam clock and things will swing back the other way for awhile. That is one of the things that make the upcoming election so important.

They bought into the belief that the government should be making personal decisions, and the government should be determining how people live and what they watch and where they eat.

They abdicated personal responsibility, both as individuals and by not holding govt officials accountable for their actions. Thus emboldened, the govt continued to regulate more, strict more, require more paperwork and more licenses and less liberties.

We only have those rights that we choose to defend. And when too many people stop defending their rights, we all lose them.

40 years of intense liberalism will do that to a country. Like communists, they do not believe in property rights.

But, never in our history could you threaten the life of a president without causing some kind of trouble. And I agree with that too.
