I agree with the 'do unto others' mentioned by the other answerer. I would say remember that there are laws above the ones written down on paper: the law of higher humanity - don't kill, steal, or hurt anybody. Try to be kind, considerate, selfless, caring. If we all obeyed this law the world would be a happier place.
