Is being a beliver so easy and convinient?

because if they commit a crime, break some ones heart or do something bad, they can ask God for forgiveness and start again with a clean slate, whereas a non believer has to face himself, his own soul. Its so difficult for us to forgive ourself!

Update:

The spelling of Believer is wrong by error - is God punishing me!!

Update 2:

Ramsey - thats a speculation and a over simplified version of your shallow thinking

What you need to know about this, is that when you are a believer, and are asking for forgiveness, it is because you realized that what you did is wrong and a sin. (a sin is a sin, in God's eyes... no matter what it is) you are not only asking for a "clean slate" but also promising never to do it again. That doesn't mean that the believer will not face himself or his own soul. It isn't like we don't remember the things we have done wrong. It is only easier to handle when you know that our father has forgiving you. God is not punishing you. He is allowing Satan to tempt you, to test you. He tells us that he will not allow us to face something that we can not handle. Hard to believe at times, yes, but deep down those unbearable things, aren't so bad with God on your side.

Source(s): No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13

God does not punish one or send a test Hebrews or anything that we cant bear to be yolked to heavy to. The sense of a crime or hurt brings unbearable guilt and shame that even if you ask God to forgive you You have a sense to carry it around and let it eat at you that it takes a long time to achieve the forgiveness of yourself and a long time to feel cleared by God that you do not feel his love. You cant face yourself in the mirror or look yourself in the eye then you are really wrong. It is not easy to be a beliver and it is never convinent to put on the cloak of good or to take it off and clean the slate to others. It is a 24-7 Job You cant go to the striper club and dance and then shout in church the next day without being judged. Somebody is watching you unaware and you need to be all around good I hope this helps

Most believers must forgive themselves, as well. And ask forgiveness from those they hurt as well as God. If they don't, they're not really following the tenents of their own beliefs. And like the rest of us, they still have to face themselves. Only fanatics can truly just do bad things and "ask forgiveness and start again with a clean slate" like it never happened, going on cheerfully with life. They have memories, too, and they'll suffer the same as the rest of us when they harm another.

Easy and convenient? Hardly. Sure, our sins are forgiven, but there's much more involved than that.

We're supposed to bring the light of Heaven to a world that mocks us for trying to help. We're supposed to die to ourselves so that Jesus can shine through. We struggle with helping those who will never appreciate it, and I'm not talking about evangelizing. I'm talking about volunteering at homeless shelters, food banks, community clean up projects, and in fundraisers for countless diseases. We don't get a pat on the back for this. It doesn't earn us points with our Savior. We do it to make this world a better place and to love our neighbor expecting nothing in return, and guess what all we get in return is ridicule. You want to know the real crazy thing about all of it? We love doing it. We love serving. We love giving love. Why? Because it's what Jesus did for us, and it's the least we can do to share His ways with the world.

It's not convenient. It's often not easy. But there's nothing more rewarding in this world than helping behind the scenes. There's this joy that grows inside you knowing that you're doing exactly what God originally intended. You feel alive for the very first time and whole in a way that didn't exist before it.

Yes you can be forgiven; / cannot be forgiven; there are two posibilties to happened depending on the situation. 1st; if you committed a Sin ex. crime of killing and other the time you dont know that there is God in your life; then you can be forgiven.BUT if you committed Sin ex. crime (killing) or other after you know that there is God an you have the faith in him already then; you will not be forgiven; pretending to be inocent that you dont know who is your God is not an excuse for committing a single sin. remember "Sin is a Sin may it be small or Big". The punishment of sin is death (Not human death, but spritual death). If God spirit is NOT in you, then you are one of the living dead. As what God tells you; knowing him is through hearing and hearing the words of God (Bible). and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free and God will forgive you (100% sure). Amen...

Christ has justified believers in Him to His Father. "No one can get to the Father except by Me." The infiniity of God's love cannot allow Him to love us any more or any less than He does. The very point at which Christ can enter into us, if you ask, is in our brokenness, our poor battered hearts and souls yearn for God and it is in this state that He is manifested. Yes, if God can forgive you, then you can forgive yourself. He will take away the chains of guild that bind you if you just ask.

    Sincerely,

Do not believe that God will forgive your wrong doing. God is not in the business to forgive others' sins. You have to realize your mistake and repent and reform to forgive your own action.

Yes. God made it really easy for us. We just have to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and all our debts are paid for.

It is difficult for one to forgive himself/herself is because of self-righteous / self-pride. It take a humble person to forgive themself and trust in the finished work of Jesus.

If Almighty God can forgive us, who are we to say we are too sinful to be forgiven. That will also "look-down" on the precious blood of Jesus. NO SIN IS GREATER THAN THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS.

I am a believer and it is hard for me to forgive myself too or others. But since Jesus forgave me, I try my best to forgive others.

    A non-believer would NOT have a soul.
