What is your favorite musical theatre "power song?"?

Note that the category is musical theatre--not necessarily Broadway or West End--give it some thought. It can also be a lovely song from a local production.

Like "Take A Trip" from "Treehouse Players' RAPUNZEL"

or "Pity The Child" from "Chess"

or "Love Can't Happen" from "Grand Hotel: The Musical"

or "And Eve Was Weak" from "Carrie"

or the opening sequence from "Goodtime Charley"

or "The Mirror Song" from the Palmisano-O'Brien "Beauty & The Beast"

or "Sweet Thing" from "Grind!"

or The Soliloquy from "Carousel"

I'm not a musical theatre fan, but I've had to see a few and there was one song that stirs even my cold soul and it's from the Man of La Mancha. I also had to see Carousel (a rip off of Liliom) and i agree about the soliloquy. There was another musical that impressed me: Sweeney Todd with George Hearn and Angela Lansbury--but I can't remember the name of the song.

Rain on my Parade -- Funny Girl

    Maybe this TIme -- Cabaret

    Tonight -- West Side Story

Really tho ... Defying Gravity is perfect for a 'power song'.
