Does anyone else have vestibulitis?
I had a baby about 2 years ago. When she was born, I had a very deep tear and it took the doctor a long time to sew it up. Then after I left the hospital I developed an infection in the tear. At my 6 weeks follow up, the doctor commented that my scar was very thick and tight, and that it was partially blocking my vagina. It took 6 months of treatment (steriod injections) and horribly painful sex to get to a point where I didn't dread sleeping with my husband. We moved about a year ago and I started seeing a new OBGYN, he told me that I have vestibulitis. It has gotten worse since I became pregnant with my second baby. I am just wondering, are there ways to keep it from hurting so much? My doctor mentioned avoiding certain foods, but the website he told me to check didn't have any real information.
