I know that people are saying that we are suppose to have a Y2K like end of the world when December 12, 2012 occurres. I personally don't buy it. I do believe that within the next twenty to thirty years you could see mini-pandemics start to cripple society. I think the constant attempts to vaccinate ourselves could be our downfall. I am not suggesting that everyone move into trailers in the woods with a shotgun or something like that but keeping your kid home when he has a cold will help him in the long run more than having the doctor prescribe an anti-biotic every time your kid sneezes. Anti-biotics kill the good bacteria as well as the bad. And eventually your body builds up an immunity to the medicine.
