If God contacted everyone on earth at the same time, proving his existance,?
and communicated that he was sick of humanity... and, he said that no more souls would be admitted to heaven ever, that everyone currently living and that will be born in the future for all time is assured a place in Hell when they die, no exceptions, would you change your life? How? How would our world change? Please be specific, I'd like to hear things I haven't thought of.
People, the question is a hypothetical situation. This is the Christian God contacting everyone in the world, that's the assumption. Please use your imaginations for once in your lives and have some fun, OK?
KHAEOS - I didn't forget the non-christians, clearly in the question it says everyone is contacted. And for the others, no fair not playing by the rules of the game.
I'm surprised nobody has said they'll stop going to church/temple/mosque...
Good one spamandham, didn't think about people not having children. Then again, plenty of people who don't want to have children have them anyway, so I don't think humanity would be in any immediate danger.

Well, I certainly wouldn't have any more children. Other than that, I can't see changing anything other than perhaps trying to get on good terms with the demons I'd be spending eternity with.

I'll answer your question with a question:
Why do you think that He hasn't done that very thing?
I also notice that your question presumes that not only does God exist but that all of the Christian dogma (i.e., Heaven/Hell) automatically comes along with the existence of God. What if God were more like the Buddhist concept of a Deity instead of a Christian one? Or a Muslim one? Would you suddenly start following Sharia (Muslim religious law) if God were to speak to you and affirm the truth of the Koran, instead of the N.T. of the Bible?
I'm always bemused by these types of "how many angels can dance on the head of a pin"-type questions here on Yahoo Answers, because the religious folks always seem to presume that there is their version of Christianity, there are atheists, and there's nothing else out there. Tell, me, do certain types of Christians just assume that all non-believers and the believers in everything but their version of Christianity are all one and the same (because they're lost souls, doomed to Hellfires)? Well, nevermind...I just wanted to point out that there are people who believe in God who don't believe in YOUR idea of what God's all about.
Another thought: If there IS any such thing as "Hell," then this life--right here and now--is probably it. --Not that life is 100% horrid, but we have awareness of death all of our lives, we go through sickness suffering and both deserved and undeserved torments, and the pleasures of life are fleeting and only serve to make the bad parts seem even worse. If that is not "Hell," then I'd like to know what is.

Well, first, he'd prove he wasn't god because that would be neither merciful, just, or loving. So... no, that wouldn't be proof.
BUT.
Assuming what you say is true, then no, I wouldn't change a thing. I'm living my life as the most moral person I possibly can anyways, without God, so I would be even more resolved to live a good life just to show him up and prove to him how wrong he is. Might rethink a few things though since he proved he existed, but he'd not be the lynchpin of my morality.

I don't believe in God or the Bible, but this sort of scenario has already happened before, as follows.
God is the greatest mass murderer in history.
References: Genesis 6:11-17 and Genesis 7:11-24
Some examples:
GE 6:13 - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
GE 6:17 - And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Seems to me that God (for believers) is annoyed with humanity other than his buddy Noah, and decides to kill (murder) every living thing on the face of the earth, except of course Noah and his family - got to have a few friends left.
I'm sure religious people will still carry on killing innocent men, women and children, in the name of God, as they have been doing throughout humanity.

He was sick of us a long time ago.... but that is not his plan..... he has established a deadline for when he calls everyone "home" to heaven...according to prophesies that are being fulfilled right now, it would be in the near future.

I suppose you forget all those billions of people who are not christians...
"God" = deity worshiped by Christians.
For your information, the christian deity is not the only one deity worshiped on Earth.
I am a non-believer, but at least, I acknowledge the fact that there are billions of non-christian believers, that I respect insofar as they don't try to influence my own "beliefs".

Just look outside and he will see things he created.God is a loving and forgiving God just read your bible and you will see but when he comes to fetch his children then it will be to late for forgiveness and it will happen like you were thinking.

I don't conduct my life according to superstition. So for me personally nothing would change. I would just continue being the best person I know how to be.

Then Revelation and Jesus' own words would be lies and my faith would be nonexistent.
If I am inescapably Hell bound, change is futile.
I believe chaos would rule.
