Is there a Chevy dealer in the U S who is willing to sell a corvette ZO6 at only 1 or 3 thou over msrp?
I am in the market for a ZO6 corvette. I know they are quite expensive. But, I can afford it, if it is priced only a few thousand over msrp. However, all the dealers I have contacted are unwilling to come down from a price which includes about ten thousand as a premium. Does anyone know a dealer who will take less profit for a transaction which will only take a few minutes to complete? (I intend to pay cash.) Thanks.

Try Costco. They have a book that allows members to buy at $500 over invoice. If you go to a dealership you won't even get close to this. They will also have a person for you to contact at the dealer who is usually the "fleet sales" manager. Also you should really hold off for a year or two. Chevy is coming out with a 740 HP SMALL BLOCK 427 (NOT a big block) Corvette this Fall and it will make the ones being made today technically obsolete.
They will however probably have a hefty price mark-up on them and might even be hard to find.

Why would you want to buy one of those hunks of crap? Just wait until someone else buys one, then 12-seconds later it's depreciated $30K below retail, and 12-seconds after that, it breaks down.
