Many Christians, particularly fundamentalists, believe Mormonism is a cult. Certainly there are 'interesting' rituals and beliefs in that faith. But, does that constitute a cult?

I am getting ready to go on camera safari to Africa. I am looking to buy a new slr digital camera with changeable lenses. In the bush for some ten to telve days without power,I can't take re-chargeable battery cameras. So, does anyone know of a decent camera (under $1000) which can use 'regular' batteries? I would be pleased with a Canon or Nikon but will consider anythng. Thanks for your help.

I took a trip from AZ to FL and got 27 mpg in my GS 350 at a bit more than legal interstate speeds. Then, I went to MT and got 30 mpg on the interstate plus local highways. Is this as remarkable as I believe or am I a normal 'in awe' owner of this fine car?

Derek Jeter is a bit like the old fashioned gay movie actors. The studios insisted they be seen in public with a variety of beautiful women. In fact, and in truth, many of those guys were gay. (Rock Hudson is a good example.) I have had several people in Scottsdale tell me of seeing Jeter with young, attractive men in Scottsdale nightclubs during Spring training. Ditto for food servers in Scottsdale's upscale restaurants. But, when he gets to the Big Apple because of his stature as a famous person, he is always seen with beautiful women.Frankly, I don"t care a whit if he is straight or gay...he is a hell of a ball player.But, which is he?

I am in the market for a ZO6 corvette. I know they are quite expensive. But, I can afford it, if it is priced only a few thousand over msrp. However, all the dealers I have contacted are unwilling to come down from a price which includes about ten thousand as a premium. Does anyone know a dealer who will take less profit for a transaction which will only take a few minutes to complete? (I intend to pay cash.) Thanks.

If you listen to the rhetoric going back and forth between the US and Iran, one gets the definite impression that the US administration is trying to get the public opinion on their side to conduct, either directly or through proxies, a military adventure against Iran? (Whew....quite a sentence...or two.) What do you think?

I am a 'culinary challenged' dad. I feel silly and embarrased, but my son asked me to make grilled cheese sandwiches and I'm not quite sure how to do it. It seems simple.
