Basically a hicky is a bruise. If you ice it right after you get it the bruising might not be so bad. There isn't a way to get rid of it. I suggest getting some green concealer. The green with contradict the redness in the hicky. Then put foundation over it. That will cover it up pretty good. And next time tell your partner to be careful. I have tried every possible way to get rid of them and they don't work.

You cant but you can hide it as much as possible by using make up (base, powder), wearing a scarf around your neck ( if a woman) or a shirt with a tie if a man. In the winter, wear a turtle neck.

Stick a Table spoon in the freezer for a few hours. Hold it against the 'bruise'. Depending on how dark the bruise is, it will, at the very least, lighten it up.

The best way to cover a hickey (or however you spell it) is don't get a hickie (however you spell it). The next best thing is turtle neck. Good luck.
